Beside enjoying the cool weather, the magnificent view of Mt.In the morning Kinabalu looming in the front was another bonus. Morning An image to remember that beautiful. The morning zooming my camera at Support Kinabalu I spent. It was a real fascinating experience in seeing the very best of the mountain at close range.
I thought the summit path reaches the left-hand corner of the picture. Zoomed in to the trail. I could see Laban Rata Rest house. We set up an evening at the Dreamworld Resort. The accommodation was disappointing. The chalets made an appearance deluxe from outdoors but most of the rooms were “run-down”. Surprisingly, there was no in-house telephone to talk to the Receptionist. Getting extra pillows cost RM10.00 each. I inspected this property when it was opened for business this year 2010. The resort was well equipped the rooms especially. In the lap of 5 years, their rooms down have run, almost certainly caused by the poor house keeping and lack of maintenance.

That was on the 787 8 plane though. Now, that the plane is a 787 9 with an F cabin you should check the chair map to determine which rows in Club World have the same configuration. If the strike will not disrupt my plans I am in F the first week in September back home from LHR. It is an extremely nice flight therefore glad to truly have a nonstop now across the Atlantic. Cabin team as usual are great on that route-at least the 2 2 times I have flown. This will be my first time soaring business on BA; I’m flying on the 787-8 out of Nashville to London.
TBH I am not excessively impressed with the business-class layout compared to other airlines I’ve flown. It appears that people nearest to the windowpane have to step OVER the aisle seat travelers if they have their chairs in lay-toned mode. As per contributions so far, opinion varies regarding the desirability of the existing long-haul business course product on BA.
My own view FWIW is that it’s probably best to try to avoid making comparisons as per your comment above; but to target instead on recent improvements (bed linens, wedding caterers) to the ‘soft product’. BA were true innovators when offering the 1st lie-flat bed / seat in business class almost twenty years ago.
The chair itself received something of the refresh around five years later, but the original cabin design/ config has fundamentally remained as being, since ever. “BA was incredibly pioneering back in 2000 when we made this big announcement of the first lie-flat bed on the market, in the world even. But we have ground to make up with our rivals now,’ he says. The new mattresses will be introduced from next season.
Thanks Hilde. At 6′ 4 and 210 lbs, I decided that this trip I would spend the money to actually feel the low half of my body to get. Hopeful that it’s a good experience! You won’t regret it. I always feel like the minority on FT because I love my CW encounters. It’s true the chair has hardly any storage however the sliding tray desk, adjustable footstool, and the fact the arm rest lays level with the chair, are excellent comfort features, which is exactly what business class is approximately.
Plus the pitch is way better than many more modern seats – I never bang my knees. The BA Forum Dashboard also has some excellent information on all BA and oneworld-related matters with such a number of threads to look at which might help you on your moves. And last but not least a warm welcome to Flyertalk and the BA Board Stuckintheback.
